unless you have millions of dollars and make a good deal with the owner the chances are slim and none hooters is a privite corperation and i dont know if they are doing to good cause buffalo seems to have had all the hooters shut down on us and it sux

the majority of hooters restaurants are franchised owned, it does not take millions to open one......I won't say exactly how much but the franchisee must commit to opening 2-3 stores in that area over time.

one of the requirements (not written in stone) but is very preferred is that the owner has major restaurant experience.

you do not have to know anyone within the corporation to be considered and there is not an "owner". It is a corporation run by regular corporate officers...i.e. CEO, VP's. The CEO is the son of one of the founders.

trust me, hooters is doing just fine and continuing to grow especially in other countries.
