Satanism does not have a pope. Ours is a localized, grassroots culture of faith that might look to others outside the circle for ideas, inspiration, and networking. We can rarely agree on what it means to be a Satanist, though the answers are generally similar. For any to call themselves the father or pontificus maximus of all Satanists would be hubris. After the laughter dies down, they will find themselves evolved, or very lonely.
