I wouldn't say the best but one of the best is Caleb Eagans out of Jewett,Tx. He's well-rounded, shooting, passing, court vision and extremely quick with his hands and feet. Probably the best defensive point guard around especially in the small town he's in.
He is the 2nd best right now right behind chris paul.
the best point guard in the phoenix suns is Steve Nash.
point guard-shooting guard
I have to say that if Chris Paul keeps playing the way he is. He will be hands down the best point guard in the history of the nba.
Yes respectively, he set his teammates up and scored at will. He was the best point guard in his prime.
Drose
best point guard
Caleb Eagans from Leon High School in Texas. I only watched him during a tournament he was playing in and at the time he was just sophomore and he's about 5'9". Will say one of the quickest ball handlers I've seen.
It is not even close Rajon Rondo is the best point guard in 2008, 2009, and 2010. I am sure he is going to be the best point guard in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.
A Point guard, or PG, also called the play maker or "the ball-handler", is one of the standard positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position - essentially, he is expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right players at the right time. Above all, the point guard must totally understand and accept his or her coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football.
