Why is the first day of school stressful?

i know middle school is stressful because you worry witch locker you have and a whole bunch of kids in the way and witch class to go to just try to get your mind off of that stuff and try not to let stuff bother you.

It's kinda hard to explain why there is so much stress in middle school. Middle school is where you learn to grow up (not in a bad way) but you know, become more responsible and independent. It just feels like there is so much pressure and stuff! Grades and social life is also a contributer to the stress. You try to get good grades but it's so much pressure and stuff.

Yes and no.

Academically, the first day is not usually very difficult. It is usually just being introduced to others, learning about rules and course outlines, and getting assigned lockers, seats, desks, etc.

It can be very difficult for some students if they are new to the school- being in an entirely new place and such.

No way. It can be confusing if your at middle/high school when your trying to figure out your schedule, but its fun doing that.

The first day of school is the quickest one. You basically do nothing. You just get a bunch of expectation sheet for your parents to sign and get introduced to your new teachers.

If your a new bee, it's still easy, unless if you don't know the language so well and not familiar with Americana's school system.

You should look forward to see your friends and making new ones too.

School is a point in life where every one must go. As the older you get the more material is required and so forth. 75% of teens in high school said that they had a time in their high school career where they felt overwhelmed. Though at times school may seem overwhelming or even make you want to do suicide, no matter what it will get easier wherever you are.

School is inherently stressful. A lot is expected of you, and there are so many things to learn and do. Homework and special projects can add to the stress as well. One remedy is get as organized as you can and focus the most on the subjects that are the most difficult to you. If necessary, hire a tutor, even for a short time, to help get you on track.
