Why should there be no homework on weekends?

No, students shouldn't have homework on weekends. Studies show that 85% of kids have too much homework on the weekends and the kids are more stressed than others; that didn't.

Making up fake facts doesn't make your opinion any more right - if you're going to use facts, use real ones. There are no studies about weekend homework.

AnswerSince you've asked for opinions, it is obvious that these are just my feelings and I am not intentionally speaking as a generalization for the masses or anything like that. I believe that the only class that homework is necessary for, is Math. I think Math needs homework so students can practice the steps, equations, formulas, etc. because they are easily mixed up and messed up. All other classes do not require homework other than the scarce project or essay in my opinion. I think homework on the weekends is even worse because that cuts into time to relax, hang out with friends and catch up on sleep. It's even worse if you play sports and you have less time to finish homework, but it's all up to the teachers.

The answer to this question is that we shouldn't have homework because we have enough homework to do at school and because there has been many paper losses in America so it just wastes more paper from the problem trying to fix it plus kids need more sleep then you think so it causes kids to disengage also because kids under age 18 should get 10-12 hours of sleep each night

There should not be much homework on weekends as weekends is for us to spend the two days and the precious time with our family. Weekends is the only two days that we are able to have as much bonding time with our family as we can. Other than weekends, we do not have enough time to bond as one big family as everybody in the family is busy with their own business. Children should not have homework because it is usually in the form of an OUTDATED worksheet which required answers copied from a book. Also it stresses kids out to the point where they just give up and don't even want too bother doing it anymore and it makes them less eager to learn in school. First of all I don’t think we should have homework because we are at school all day long so we have less time to relax at night for ex. “ Mom can I watch tv or play “ “ No you have to do homework and later play or watch tv “ so it’s annoying.

Second of all we have to much homework so you don’t want to do homework and then you are forced to do homework and later you’re say “ Mom can I stop now and continue tomorrow? “ and then you this answer “ No Xavier you have to continue a bit more sweetheart and then you can stop and I will tell you when you can stop ok “ and the n you finish by having homework for 2 hours and let me tell you homework is not fun plus after you have only 15 minutes of tv instead of 45 minutes.

Lastly you get homework on the weekend so you finish by having 2 hours of weekend spend on homework plus it’s all shoved in one day and let me tell you this it’s worst then having less time of tv.

I really don’t think we should have homework it’s the biggest waste of time you can imagine trust me.
