Jesus knew the Scriptures and their meaning so well at twelve years old that he was "in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers." Luke 2:46,47. He latter was called Rabbi, for in His ministry, he taught the intent of God's Holy Word. As God, come in the flesh (Matthew 1:23; John 1:12), the Scripture tells us: "The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." The whole Bible refers to Him.
