The death penalty has been around for as long as humanity has required justice. One can find reference to it in the earliest of recorded histories.
Sirhan Sirhan was not put to death after he assassinated Bobby Kennedy because the Death Penalty was taken away in California just before the assassination took place. So they could not give him the death penalty so he is forced to rot in jail for the rest of his life.
No, there should not be a death penalty for gay people. Unfortunately, as of 2017, there are 10 countries that put people to death for being gay.

I do not think that the death penalty is much of a deterrent, but is a fact that murderers who are put to death will kill no one else, and will not have his miserable life supported at taxpayers' expense.
Yes. It doesn't matter where you are from for the death penalty to be allowed, example you are from a state that doesn't have the death penalty and kill someone in a state that does. You can be put to death in a federal court (treason, killing a federal officer, and more) regardless of your state residency.
At the very least they were excommunicated and they could be put to death.
whoever is responsible for it will be put to death
While he was governor of Texas, he allowed many people to be put to death. I suspect he supports it then ...
A "death put" on a CD means that the CD can be redeemed early without penalty if the account holder passes away before the CD matures.
Yes No, it should not. An eye for an eye. You deserve the same fate you gave your victim. Of course there should be major, flawless laws for the death penalty, and of course understandable reasons for being put under the death penalty. For example, if you steal a car, the death penalty is just too harsh of a punishment. But if you murder someone, then the death penalty is an excellent form of punishment; again, an eye for an eye.
Impossible question to answer. People have been being put to death for violating society's rules long before recorded history ever began.
