The choice of class may be optional at the beginning of the semester. However choice of going to class will not be the best option. Students are too young to properly understand and use the independence given to them.
Not Breaking a Law, but...Teachers talking about a student to the class while the student is out is not breaking any laws, but unless the teacher is saying something brief and good about the student, it is definitely in very poor taste and judgment.
The teachers are responsible for the class and so, yes, they can take students notes from them. Of course, they are not going to publish them, but the notes are not appropriate student behavior. Students are there to learn and to practice what they have learned and passing notes interferes with that. That is, because the communications in class are meant to be about the subject.

The salutatorian is the student with the second highest academic rank in a class. They are ranked right behind the valedictorian.
Questions like this are best answered before, with a list or discussion about boundaries. Because most students are still learning, life lessons and school lessons, ZERO TOLERANCE is not the best approach. Most students should be given at least one 'strike' before being ejected from a class. This 'strike' can and should be used as subject matter for a class discussion or lesson. Being told something is wrong, is not enough. Knowing why it is wrong, and its repercussions, is much better. This question can also involve the 'amount' of disrespect or disobedience. But, over all, tolerance should be the operative guide word. kapm
Where is the student going after class? Where does the student go after class?

An optional course is a class that a student can choose to take as part of their academic program but is not required for graduation. Optional courses allow students to explore additional subjects that interest them or to specialize in a particular area within their field of study.
Encouraged maybe, not mandatory though imo.

the real question is... is that student happy were they are? & is an IQ of 140 important to that student ... maybe that question should be put to the student.
You should immediately send the student to the school nurse.
Not if the student was texting during class. It is the same as passing notes - the teacher will always have the right to see what is going on during class time when you should be doing class work.
Which subject we should take for i.a.s in 11th class
The student should observe the class to order. You should also carry out assignments thatthe teacher has set.
Is this a student trying to get homework done. If so, you should pay attention in class. If you are not a student, I apologize.
