For every question answered correctly you get a full point, for every question answered wrong you get a quarter of a point deducted off. And for every question answered blank you will get no point. For gridded responses, you will get no point if the answer is wrong. The maximum points you can get is 2,400!

How can i increase my sat score?

There are several ways to improve your test score. One of the best ways is to keep taking the practice tests until the big day I am going to take the SATs soon. Went to a site called www.examville.com and I take online practice tests there. The tests are timed and it's helping improve. I can do from my home computer.

Does your GRE score gets averaged if you attempt it more than once for a better score?

It's always the better score. However, remember the GRE is only one part of the total criteria used in the selection process. Not to belittle the test itself, but many schools require you take the test, but do not put much confidence in its ability to predict success at the graduate level.

How do you check your IQ?

You can check your IQ by taking a standardized test administered by a licensed psychologist or through online IQ tests. Keep in mind that an IQ score is just one measure of intelligence and may not fully capture your overall abilities and strengths.

How long does it take to master the violin?

"With previous musical experience it would take approximately 2-3 years in order to reach a high intermediate level. Alone with no musical experience (i.e. reading notes, note sounds, etc.) at least 4-5 years to reach a high intermediate level. The best way to learn the Violin is through practice and repetition, which in turn could shorten the amount of years it take to the intermediate level. With daily practice and improvement, mastery could be accomplished in at least 7-8 years. In the case of mastery being playing by ear, it would be at least 7-8 years to fully grasp a song and play it using hearing. Note, however, that no instrument can truly be mastered due to the fact that even professionals have not completely perfected their abilities." While I agree, I would also say the amount of time taken to master the violin is related to a) your teacher and their abilities, and b) the amount of time that you practice. Many people take longer periods of time to 'master' the violin, while others can pick it up in a shorter amount of time. Also, different types of practice are healthy. While solo practice is good for building technique, I would recommend learning to play with a group, which can prove to be fun and teach many valuable lessons

Is 1300 a good sat score?

If your talking about the old SAT which I think was given up until 2005 then yes 1300 is good score. The old SAT was out of 1600 and the average score was in the low 1000's I myself got a 1220 without a calculator. The new one takes into account a personal writing section which is kinda bogus. If your going by the old scale the average IVY leaguer I think the distribution was in the 1275-1560 range. So with a 1300 and decent grades you could probably get into a good second tier school, if you wanted to. Myself I recommend a public university unless you have some serious financial backup. Four years at most private colleges will run you 60-120 thousand. Depending on your major that could take you forever to pay off.

The players golf score which depends on the number of swings taken at the ball?

yes the golf score depends on the number of swings you take at the golf ball. A practice swing doesn't count. I would say a putt is somewhat considered a swing.
