While it has not been proven, there is often more pressure on private school students to do well in school, which often contributes to suicidal tendencies. Boarding school students also have these pressures, as well as being cut off from families for long periods of time.
I cannot agree with the use on two occasions of the word 'often' in the above response: the word 'may' would be more appropriate. It is not considered abnormal or unusual for individuals to experience suicidal thoughts. Only when a person acts upon suicidal thoughts, i.e. commences to develop a suicide plan, that their behaviour may be regarded as abnormal, indicating a possible need for moderation via psychological intervention. Again I'm unsure what the writer means by 'suicidal tendencies'. But if this phrase refers to a person who is known to be at risk of suicidethen psychological intervention may be indicated. Every situation is unique: hence the need in relation to each intervention, for the exercise of therapeutic judgment by expert psychological practitioners.

Common rooms in schools promote social interactions among students, fostering a sense of community and belonging. They provide a space for students to relax, collaborate, and bond outside of formal academic settings. Additionally, common rooms can enhance students' mental well-being by offering a break from the rigors of the academic environment.
Common types of lessons taught in schools include mathematics, science, language arts (reading/writing), social studies, and physical education. Additionally, schools may offer lessons in art, music, computer science, and foreign languages depending on the curriculum.
The Aztec schools were called calmecac and telpochcalli. Calmecac was an elite school for nobles where they learned academics, religion, and leadership skills. Telpochcalli was a more common school where boys were taught military skills, history, and trades.
Victorian schools had smaller class sizes, stricter discipline, and a more rote-learning approach compared to today's schools. They also had a focus on memorization and standardized testing rather than critical thinking and creativity, which are emphasized more in modern education. Additionally, Victorian schools were often segregated by gender and social class, which is less common in today's schools that aim for more inclusivity and diversity.
Good question. It's more common among private schools than public schools.

All schools, private or public, have a dress code. Most private schools, however, require uniforms. For girls it typically consists of a dress, skirt, and/or blouse. For boys it is usually dark long trousers and a light nice shirt with tie. Some schools allow girls to wear trousers and a blazer or jacket is common for both genders.
People who have depression generally seem withdrawn, and like they don't care about anything anymore. They are sad most of the time, not necessarily because of a recent event that happened, but just sometimes, for what seems like, "no reason". But the reason is that they might have clinical depression. The definition of clinical depression is a sadness that is chronic, and requires medical attention.
Not in the public school system. There are prob. some private schools for girls somewhere. Private schools are far less common in Germany than in the USA. In part because the public schools, Highschools and Universities are basically free and very good (despite what some of the locals may think) :-)
It depends on what sub-field the psychologist is in. The most common field is clinical psychology. Clinical psychologists diagnose and treat people with psychological disorders, such as depression and schizophrenia.
