The present educational philosophy in the Philippines is not relevant to the country's needs because it focused so much on the cognitive level or attaining concepts which are not applicable to the present set-up of the country. Economically the Philippines is lagging behind other Asian countries. Filipinos should be taught as early as grade school about entrepreneurship and managing smartly finances.

Absolutely not, they are trying to make it so that everyone has the same curriculum in the USA, including homeschoolers. It won't ever happen in my opinion. That would mean the gifted kids couldn't get ahead and kids with special education would all fail. I'm sorry but who ever wrote that is a complete fool, it would be awesome for schools to have the same curriculum, obviously there will still be honor classes, and sped classes but those classes will be the same across America this would help kids when they get to college cause with schools being different some are way behind in what they should no while others are way ahead.

In the United States education is very relaxed with the philosophy that no child is left behind. In Romania it is up to the student to meet the standards of the school.
Deficient curriculum is a curriculum that doesn't meet acceptable standards. It is lacking in some way, perhaps causing pupils to fall behind the students in other comparable locations.
