-- use a candle
-- use a lantern
-- use a flashlight
-- use a gas burner on the stove
-- start your homework early enough in the afternoon so that you can finish it before nightfall
Try doing it in 20 minute sessions with a 5 minute break to make it more efficient. Or,you could first take into consideration the teacher you are turning it in to. Is she an easy or hard grader? Those thoughts aside, I would suggest tackling the homework starting with the hardest assignments first. Make a list of what you're going to do- trust me, this helps. Finally, set time limits for yourself. For example you could say to yourself you will finish your math homework by 7:30 etc. -and maybe start your homework earlier? :) hope this helps!
Elizabethans like Shakespeare did not have a concept of homework (with 14-hour schooldays they didn't need it) and so there was no word for it.
Having homework every day can benefit you by reinforcing what you learned in class, helping you practice and improve your skills, and fostering a sense of responsibility and time management. It can also prepare you for exams and develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
When your child needs help with homework try to help them yourself first and if that try is not succseful you should then ask there teacher to help them understand there homework and if that does not work I would try to hire a tutor.
No offense, but not really. A thesis statement, first of all, needs to be spelled correctly! :P Secondly, it needs to be a statement, like "Students do not benefit from all that homework." Your question would be a good opening sentence for a more complex report, but not a good thesis statement. If you think students DO benefit from homework, make that your thesis statement, and if you think they DON'T benefit from homework, then make that your thesis statement.
A light-year is a unit of distance, not a unit of time.
A little but if this was homework the basic answer would NO
I need to generate enough energy to finish my homework.
There are usually plenty of people willing to do math homework for money. However, paying someone to finish your homework won't help you learn the subject, and you could end up failing the test.
Wouldn't you like to know? I seriously would! I want to finish this homework!!! D:< AHHH

"And God said, 'Let there be light' and there was light, but the Electricity Board said He would have to wait until Thursday to be connected. "SAVING electricity IS SAVING MONEY
It would probably be a good idea, but the schools would have to have money to hire extra teachers so they could do it.

Because he would not finish his broccoli, never did his homework, and poured his milk into the potted palm when nobody was looking.
For the advantages, think about what would happen if the electricity was cut off at your home. You could ask your parents to switch it off to help with your homework . . The disadvantage is that it can be dangerous if not properly used.
Fridges which would have a pilot light would have been absorption-cycle or ammonia-cycle units, usually made for areas where there was no electricity. It would be likely they would have a pilot light.
