If you believe that students should be free to express themselves.
In Ireland, I was always told that uniforms are in place to stop discrimination and particularly where people may not be able to afford the newest clothes. This I find to be hypocritical because uniforms here are extortionately priced and could have bought me at least 3 sets of clothes for one uniform
they should wear the school uniforms because it makes the whole school's presentation much nicer. Having a uniform promotes the feeling of equality and makes it much easier for the students to not have to choose what they wear everyday, as this might lead to bullying.
Uniforms in schools can help promote a sense of equality among students, reduce distractions related to clothing, and create a sense of belonging to the school community. However, uniforms may restrict students' freedom of expression and individuality. Ultimately, the decision to implement uniforms in schools should consider the specific needs and values of the school community.
Teachers don't have to wear school uniform because the school does not have that policy. Though they do have the policies that students in that school do have to. Casual days is a kind of treat for students that are in a school that have the policy that children have to wear the school uniform. What I say is "Why cant teachers wear uniform as well as students?" So if you are a school student wondering why than let me tell you, one day teachers will and one day we will wear casual clothes.
maybe, but the uniform is a symbolic representation of the school, which makes each school unique and makes everyone, rich or poor, look the same, so there is no discrimination if someone is poor.. because you cant tell.
FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION! You shouldn't be told what to wear; wear whatever you want to.
Do you think someone who skipped grade school could jump right into highschool? NO not at all. If grade school were optional then high school would have to be optional.. and of course college is already optional.
Making school uniforms optional can allow students to express their individuality through their clothing choices. However, uniforms can also promote a sense of equality and unity among students, regardless of their socioeconomic status. It ultimately depends on the goals of the school and the community it serves.
No they are very bad
yes
The one recommended by the school.
there is school uniform because if you go on excursions then people can recognise what school your from.
I personally think that yes school uniform should be worn because that is the only way a person could say from the opposite side-"oh so you go to this school do you?" and it represents your school as well.
It depends on where you are. If you already go to a school that requires a school uniform, they should have given you the information necessary to purchase your uniform from the correct supplier, but if it is your first time going to a uniformed school the situation should still be the same, they should have told you where and hen to get it.
children are happier in there own clothing
Equality. Takes away judgement and insecurities.
Whether you should wear a uniform to school is decided by the school's dress code policy. Uniforms can help promote a sense of equality and focus on academics rather than fashion. However, some argue that uniforms restrict personal expression. Ultimately, it depends on the school's values and goals.
