If electric heating is your option, a heat pump definately is the way to go, providing 3 to 4 even more times the BTU's of heat per Watt used as compared to resistive heat strip type heaters which are 100% efficient and provide 3.45 BTU's per Watt used.

I moderate climates and cold temps of 40F and above heat pumps work great!

below 40F the efficiency drops off rapidly, as does output capacity.

What is the original source of energy for this heating system?

The original source of energy for this heating system is electricity or natural gas. Electric heating systems convert electrical energy into heat, while gas heating systems burn natural gas to produce heat.

Why does the auxiliary heat come on in my heating system?

The auxiliary heat in your heating system comes on when the primary heat source, such as a heat pump, is unable to meet the desired temperature setting. This usually happens during very cold weather or when the primary heat source is not functioning efficiently. The auxiliary heat helps to supplement the primary heat source and maintain a comfortable temperature in your home.

What source of heat is created by burning fuel in heating systems?

The source of heat created by burning fuel in heating systems is typically combustion, where the fuel is ignited and reacts with oxygen to produce heat energy. The heat generated from this combustion process is then used to warm up the air or water circulating through the heating system.

Is the absorption of solar energy the primary source of energy for heating the air?

This is true, and also for heating the earth's surface and the oceans. The only other source is the heat from the centre of the earth. Man-made activities are small by comparison.

How many households use heating oil?

Heating oil currently serves about 23 million Americans in 8.6 million households.

What is the earths primary source of light energy?

The Sun is Earth's primary source of light energy. It emits light in the form of electromagnetic radiation that reaches Earth and provides energy for various processes such as photosynthesis and heating the planet.

What is the primary source that drives weather events?

The primary source that drives weather events is the energy from the sun. The uneven heating of the Earth's surface by the sun creates variances in temperature, leading to the formation of weather patterns such as winds, storms, and precipitation.

Is politics by aristotale primary source or secondary source?

What is the significance of RC and RH on a thermostat?

The significance of RC and RH on a thermostat is that they are terminals for connecting the power source to the heating and cooling systems, respectively. RC is for connecting the power source to the cooling system, while RH is for connecting the power source to the heating system. These terminals ensure that the thermostat can control both heating and cooling functions in a home or building.

What is a secondary fuel?

A secondary fuel is a fuel source that is used in addition to the primary fuel source in engines, generators, or heating systems. It is typically used as a backup or to boost performance when the primary fuel is not sufficient. Examples include biodiesel, propane, or hydrogen.
