Coal is portable, so once it is dug up and processed we can send it almost anywhere. The others are rather geographically dependant. Solar energy is fairly well available to most populations, because we tend to live in fairly temperate areas (though the people who live close to the poles don't have much of it available). Tidal energy is not easily available to those in the center of a large continent, but if you live on an ocean or sea coast it is hard to get away from. Similarly, wind energy is almost everywhere, though strong consistent wind that large energy companies like is fairly limited, but quite reasonable as a supplement to many individuals.
Coal is a NON-renewable energy as when burnt, the Coal combusts, emitting carbon dioxide, among other harmful products. A renewable energy would be wind or tidal or solar energy for example.
No, tidal energy is not used in Indiana as it is an inland state with no access to oceans where tidal energy can be harnessed. Indiana primarily relies on other sources of energy such as coal, natural gas, and renewables like wind and solar.
wind, tidal, solar, geothermal, biomass, oil, coal, natural gas, uranium,
Some energy sources include solar, wind, hydroelectric, nuclear, biomass, geothermal, coal, natural gas, oil, and tidal energy.
there are loads * Wind energy * Biomass * solar cells * Gas * Oil * Coal * Nuclear * Hydro-electric * tidal * solar heating * Food hope this helps :-D
hydroelectricity solar energy tidal power oil power wind power coal power nuclear power
Coal, oil, natural gas, uranium, hydro, solar, wind, biomass, tidal, ocean waves
Renewable resources are resources that are not expected to run out, any time soon at least. Some examples are solar energy, tidal energy and geothermal energy.
Electicity from coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear, biomass, wind, solar, tidal sources.
Renewable energy (solar, wind, water, hydro, tidal and wave, geothermal, ocean thermal, biomass and biofuel). coal, wood
Solar energy is a non-example of coal. Solar energy is generated from sunlight through solar panels, whereas coal is a fossil fuel that is mined from the earth.
The only thing similar is each produces energy. The coal is the dirtiest form while solar is the cleanest.
