to fit a starter motor it is normally held in by 3 maybe 4 bolts dependant on what car it is. these bolts are normally easily found when the starter motor is found which will be located either on the back or the front of the engine. attached to the gearbox. there is aso the main feed wire connected to the starter which must also be removed but always remember to disconnect the battery terminals before removing the starter.

How do you fit a starter motor in a vito v230?

To fit a starter motor in a Mercedes Vito V230, begin by disconnecting the vehicle's battery to ensure safety. Remove any necessary components, such as the air intake or engine cover, to access the starter motor. Unbolt the old starter motor from its mounting, disconnect the wiring, and then position the new starter motor in place. Secure it with bolts, reconnect the wiring, and reassemble any components you removed before finally reconnecting the battery.
