Follow the general procedure:
1 - switch off all keyless services (stereo, lights, satnavs etc)
2 - remove the key from the dashboard
3 - disconnect and tuck away the ground (-) terminal
4 - do the same with the hot (+) one
5 - find the clamp at the base of the battery, unscrew
6 - remove the battery using its built-in handles or a battery-carrying strap or other SAFE carrying device.
To reinstall, repeat steps 6 - 3 in reverse order.
After switching the ignition on, the car will take several minutes to "reset", just like a computer. During that time some signal lights may stay on longer than usual.
Door glass regulators will have to be reset by moving them up and down full travel so that they can "re-learn" the limits.
You'll also have to reset the clock, stereo memories. The trip computer resets automatically.

To change the cambelt on a Skoda Superb, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Remove necessary components like the engine cover, accessory belts, and any obstructions to access the timing belt. Align the timing marks on the crankshaft and camshaft, then remove the old cambelt and replace it with the new one, ensuring proper tension and alignment. Finally, reassemble the components in reverse order, double-checking everything before reconnecting the battery and starting the engine.
The engine number on a Skoda Superb is typically located on the engine block itself. You can usually find it on a metal plate or stamped directly onto the block, often near the timing cover or on the side of the engine. For the exact location, it's recommended to consult the owner's manual or contact a Skoda dealership for assistance.
