Energy used by a car starts with the microorganisms that made the petrol it runs on.

Skip a lot of procceses and what happpens is is when ignited the petrol explodes forcing a piston to move turning a drive shaft turning the wheels of the car.

Some energy is used in heat, some in the friction of moving these parts.

Then when the wheels are turning there is friction against the road which takes energy.

wind resistance on the cars body takes energy.

Braking removes energy in the form of heat and sometimes light.

There are so many ways and I have only covered the obvious ones. If you look deep im sure there are hundreds.

What energy has a moving car got?

A moving car has kinetic energy, which is the energy of motion. This energy is determined by the car's mass and speed.

What kind of energy does a moving car have?

A moving car has kinetic energy, which is the energy of motion possessed by an object. The amount of kinetic energy that a car has is influenced by its mass and velocity.

What happens in terms of energy when a moving car hits a parked car causing the parked car to move?

When a moving car hits a parked car, energy is transferred from the moving car to the parked car. The kinetic energy of the moving car is transferred to the parked car, causing it to move. Some energy is also converted into other forms, like sound and heat, during the collision.

What kind of energy transfer does a car have?

mechanical energy

How does energy transfer by waves differ from energy transfer by a moving object?

In energy Transfer by waves, the energy moves through the the medium, for example the water, but isn't carrying the water with it. In energy transfer by a moving object the energy is traveling by means of an object. So, energy transfer by waves can be pictured as a person (the energy) swimming through water (the medium) and energy transfer through an object can be pictured as a person (the energy) riding a bicycle (the object) In the first case the energy itself is moving through a medium, where in the second case the energy is using its power to move by use of an object. Hope this helps you understand!

What is an example of kinetice energy?

An example of kinetic energy is a moving car. As the car is in motion, it possesses kinetic energy due to its velocity. The faster the car is moving, the more kinetic energy it has.

What type of energy does a moving car release?

A moving car releases kinetic energy, which is the energy of motion. This energy is generated as the car's engine converts fuel into power to propel the vehicle forward.

What happens in terms of energy when a moving car hits a parked car caused the parked car to move?

When a moving car hits a parked car and causes it to move, the kinetic energy of the moving car is transferred to the parked car. This increase in kinetic energy causes the parked car to start moving. Some of the energy is also dissipated as sound, heat, and deformation of the cars during the collision.
