In simple terms, in the gasoline internal combustion engine fuel is mixed with air at a ratio of around 14 parts air to 1 part gasoline. This fuel mixture enters the combustion chamber just above the piston where it is ignited by a spark plug when the piston is at the top of it's travel within the cylinder. This explosion forces the piston downward turning a crankshaft. This crankshaft is connected to a transmission which in turn routes the torque to the drive wheels on the vehicle. This turns the wheels which moves the vehicle.

Than when you turn the engine on its like pulling a motor from the lawn mower than the engine would start up but wouldn't move the car that is why you need fuel to start. than the fuel will go in to the engine causing it to burn the fuel and strong enough for it to move the car

Is driving a car a chemical or physical reaction?

Driving a car involves both chemical and physical reactions. The combustion of fuel in the engine is a chemical reaction that produces the energy needed to move the car, while the physical interactions between the tires and the road surface enable the car to accelerate, brake, and turn.

Does a car with fuel injection have a carburator?

No, it has fuel injectors and a plenum to move air to the cylinder. It has no carburetor.

Why buy a car that uses fuel?

The pragmatic reason is: Because there are no cars for sale that don't use fuel. Any car you buy will need fuel. The scientific reason is: Because a car that uses no fuel goes nowhere. If you want to move people and stuff from one place to another, it takes energy to do that. If you do it with a horse, then you have to put energy into the horse before you can take it out of the horse. And if you want to do it with a car, then you have to put energy into the car before the car has energy to move things with. The energy comes from the fuel you put into the car.

Why does Mercedes car consume much fuel?

Why people think they should use hydrogen as a fuel for car?

How does burning gas in the engine of a car cause the car to move?

Why doesnt my new 305 Chevy engine have power to move without dying out?

broken fuel pump/ fuel filter can cause car to die right after starting. If the fuel pump is not pumping fuel into the engine, the car will stall.

What does a engine do in car?

Generates Power by burning fuel. This Power is then utilised to move Car at different speeds by Mechanical Gears.

Why do cars need fuel?

Fuel is material which is processed (usually 'burnt') to produce energy - heat or power. To move a car takes energy - and that has to be supplied by the fuel.
