I see a motorcycle that has a 420 bhp engine built into it for some reason and another reference to a 2200 bhp jet engine and another for a 9000 bhp engine, so it could vary quite widely depending on the size of the engine.
There are various engine sizes for both of these cars. For example, the Lamborghini can sport an engine which develops 612 bhp @6500 rpm (12 cyc), while the engine for a 69 mustang comes in at 428 cu in (7 L) V-8 with 355 bhp @5200 rpm. (the Cobra Jet & Super Cobra Jet). Impressive, but not in the same league as a lamborghini.
The chemical combination of fuel and oxygen in a jet engine releases energy in the form of heat. This heat is used to increase the temperature of air passing through the engine, which in turn expands and produces thrust to propel the aircraft forward.
If you're referring to the power of the engine, it is not in hertz. The power of of a jet engine is measured in pounds.
Jet engines and rockets are different means of propulsion. A jet engine takes in air, compresses it and mixes it with vaporized fuel. The air fuel mixture is ignited and produces thrust out the rear of the engine. A rocket uses fuel wich is burned and produces thrust with no air intake. Rocket fuels can be solid, liquid or compressed gas.
Well, there are many reasons but the main one is the jet engine is many times larger and more powerful.

An inventor developed a new turbofan blade for jet engines. He obtains a patent for the new design and sells all his patent rights to the design to Acme Jet Engine Company. Acme then produces and sells a new jet engine based on the design to the aviation public. Beta Aircraft Corporation purchases two of Acme's new jet engines from a retailer selling Acme engines and installs them in its own research craft. What can Acme do?
The power or potency of a jet engine is mostly indicated by thrust, which is the propulsion force that a jet engine produces to push an aircraft forward. Thrust is usually indicated in pounds-force (lbf) or kilonewtons (kN). The thrust of a jet engine varies depending on its design, size, and usage. Small Jet Engine Model List, generally found in business jets or regional aircraft, might be rated anywhere between 2,000 and 8,000 lbf of thrust. In comparison, commercial jet engines mounted on Boeing 777 or Airbus A350 planes have been known to produce 90,000 to more than 100,000 lbf of thrust per engine. The GE9X, perhaps the most powerful commercial jet engine in the world, produces approximately 105,000 lbf of thrust. Military jet engines, especially those with afterburners, can generate even greater thrust. For example, engines in contemporary fighter jets can vary from 30,000 to 40,000 lbf, which provides supersonic flight capacity. The power of a jet engine is not merely brute thrust—it is also a testament to efficiency, longevity, and sophisticated engineering. Jet engines need to deliver day in and day out under brutal conditions, so their power is a combination of force, reliability, and innovation. Their design is one of the most sophisticated feats of aerospace engineering.
A jet is a type of engine that powers many aircraft and does not have anything to do with airplane size.
A jet propelled engine, commonly known as a jet engine, is a type of internal combustion engine that generates thrust by expelling jet streams of gas at high speeds. It works on the principle of Newton's third law of motion, where the action of expelling gas out the back produces an equal and opposite reaction that propels the aircraft forward. Jet engines are widely used in commercial and military aircraft due to their efficiency at high speeds and altitudes. There are several types of jet engines, including turbojets, turbofans, and turboprops, each designed for specific applications.
The Thunder Jet was the standard engine in the Cobra. There were 7,675 Cobras made in 1970. I cannot find a breakdown on how man came with the standard Thunder Jet engine and how many came with the Cobra Jet & Super Cobra Jet engines.
Frank Whittle was the invetor of the jet engine.
