A car engine, a coal or petroleum power plant, a nuclear reactor.
You mean Kingsnorth in the UK? It is not nuclear, coal is used there.
Coal is obviously not renewable, as it took millions of years to form, but there is still plenty of coal in many countries, so it will no doubt go on being used, mainly to produce electricity, also iron in blast furnaces.

An alternative to coal mining is investing in renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power. These sources are more sustainable, environmentally friendly, and can provide long-term energy solutions without the negative impact of coal mining.
Coal can be reused through a process called coal recycling or coal reprocessing. This involves converting used coal into a more refined form that can be used again for various purposes, such as in power generation or industrial processes. Recycling coal can help reduce waste and environmental impact associated with coal mining and combustion.
It's not sustainable. To be sustainable, humans (or nature itself) must be able to continually produce as much or more of any given product or activity. Solar energy is a good example of sustainable energy, since we can never use it all up. Plant-based ethanol is another example, because we can always produce more by growing more of the crops out of which it's made. Once we mine all the coal, there will be no more and no way to make more.
A boiler in a coal power station is responsible for converting water into steam. The coal is burned in the furnace of the boiler, producing heat which is used to generate steam. This steam is then used to drive a turbine, which spins a generator to produce electricity.
In a power station, energy is typically produced by converting a fuel source such as coal, natural gas, or uranium into heat energy. This heat energy is then used to produce steam, which drives turbines connected to generators, converting mechanical energy into electrical energy that is then transmitted to consumers through the power grid.
a non sustainable resource is a resource that will soon all be used up such as oil or coal
It will run out, but there is still enough supply to last over 100 years I believe which means that it really isn't a problem yet. However, we should already be converting to cleaner methods of power and electricity over coal.
