my key won't turn at all. I've tried moving steering wheel and shifter. still won't turn. battery HAS POWER

You can try a few things. Make sure your tires are at about 34 PSI. If you turn off your AC, or run your climate control on "EC", that can help a little.
check the battery in the car and the batteries for the fob key
You will need to push EC button and adjust the temp.
I guess you should only use it sometime then.
