Installed capacity is 1189 MW, annual generation is 4466 GWH, which is 4,466 million kWh.
about 13698630.13 kWh per dayPower production is the primary function of the Bonneville Dam. The two Bonneville powerhouses generate about 5 billion kWh of electricity each year; or 13.7 million kWh /day.

4,000GWh that's 4,000,000,000kWh
It costs about 0.7 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh) of electricity
The hydroelectric production of South America, as of 2006, is 618.80 billion KWH.
KWH
the avg pay between 4.7 cents to 14.6 cents per kwh depending on the time of day we use power.

Energy companies use kilowatt-hours (kWh) instead of joules because kWh is a more convenient and practical unit for measuring the amount of energy consumed by households and businesses. Joules are much smaller units, requiring large numbers for typical energy usage, whereas kWh provides a more manageable figure for billing purposes.
To calculate the cost per kWh given 35 kWh of usage and the total cost, divide the total cost by the number of kWh. For example, if the total cost is $70 for 35 kWh, the cost per kWh would be $70 / 35 kWh = $2 per kWh.
1 mwh = 1000 kwh hence 4 mwh = 4000 kwh
The price of electricity is based on the production costs of generation. Some generation fuels consist of oil, coal, natural gas. Depending on the costs of these fuels relates directly to what you as a consumer will be charged. My electricity is supplied from a hydro electric dam which is one of the least expensive methods of production. I pay .07 cents a kilowatt hour. Added by JL-- Depends on the state that you live in... For example, in Texas in 2011, average rates were around 11 cents/kWh, but that also was dependent upon the contract length. I had a 6 month contract for about 8.5 cents/kWh.
