Check your vacuum lines and also check your idle air control valve. Make sure the IAC valve gasket is in good condition and that the valve itself is not loose.

If it is the brake lights you are talking about, it may be the brake switch. this switch is on the brake pedal and makes the lightrs come on when you press the pedal. if you look to the very top of your brake pedal you should see this switch and a wire connected to it.(You may have to remove some of the trim, you may not.
