The hydrocarbon mixture that is used to power the internal combustion engine in cars. Americans call it gas or gasoline.

When plants& animals got buried in sedimentary rocks under high temperature & pressure, the fluids from the body of plants & animals got collected under these rocks & further decomposition took place which are rich in hydrocarbons & this resulted in the formation of petrol.
A petrol a liquid found naturally existing in the earth which helps in combustion and is used in vehicles for transportation !! :D
Gasoline or petrol is a petroleum-derived liquid mixture, primarily used as fuel in internal combustion engines. It consists mostly of aliphatic hydrocarbons, enhanced with iso-octane or the aromatic hydrocarbons toluene and benzene to increase its octane rating. Small quantities of various additives are common, for purposes such as tuning performance or reducing emissions. Some mixtures also contain significant quantities of ethanol as a partial alternative fuel.
