I am writing down the entire process of how a thermal power plant works, along with a summary.
Summary: In a thermal power plant, the coal is first crushed into fine powder (there is no energy change yet in coal, as the chemical energy inside it is unchanged). Then, the powdered coal it is added to a furnace, where it is set on fire. Many tubes containing water pass through the furnace. This water boils and turns to steam. Now, the chemical energy of the coal has turned into kinetic energy of the steam. The steam is passed through turbines, which causes them to rotate. The kinetic energy of steam turns to kinetic energy of turbines. Turbines are connected with a dynamo's/generator's shaft and causes the shaft to rotate, which in turn rotates a magnet surrounded by metal wire coils. This produces electricity.
A coal-fired energy plant is one that burns coal (as the source of energy) to make electricity or drive machinery.
The energy in coal is stored as potential energy during its formation over millions of years. This potential energy is released as heat when the coal is burned, which is then used to generate electricity through steam turbines.
The energy source which Is dug out of the ground is called coal and is can be burnt to make electricity

Coal. Coal fired plant generate the bulk of IS electricity making.
To make energy such as electricity for you home. Also provide heat.
The energy in coal is stored in the form of chemical bonds between carbon and other elements like hydrogen. When coal is burned, these bonds break, releasing the energy in the form of heat that can be used to vaporize water and generate steam to drive turbines that produce electricity.
batteries use chemical potential energy to make electricity. electrical energy is converted into light/electromagnetic energy by the screen, and sound energy by the headphones.
Energy cannot be 'made' or 'destroyed'. It can simply be transformed to a different type of energy. Coal contains chemical energy, which will for example, be converted to heat energy in say a coal fired industrial boiler.
Coal is primarily used for electricity generation, accounting for a significant portion of global energy production. It is also used in industrial processes such as steel production and cement manufacturing. Additionally, coal is used in residential and commercial heating and as a feedstock for certain chemical processes.
we make electricity with coal
I don't know so get a life! Ask someone no one really cares!
