Probably a faulty fuel gauge sending unit.
Bad ground, usually at the rear lights.
It's most likely your alternator going out, or something wrong with the charging system.....
It is important to pay attention to the warning lights on the dashboard. When the ABS and brake lights flask that means there is something wrong with the brake system.
Answering my own question here, it's what I thought it was. One of my high beams was out, so my high beam indicator was flashing when my headlights were not turned on. As for the daytime running lights, they came back on when I changed the bulb.
First. It sounds like you have some wires in the wrong place. At no time should anything you do concerning your rear lights affect your wipers. You also probably have a short circuit or a broken wire somewhere.
You may need to change the indicator bulb, that's what was wrong with mine.
Check the tail light bulbs, clean it if you have using fine sandpaper. If it did no work check the cable connected to the lights. If the cable integriry was not damaged, check the fuse box.
The Computer has detected a malfunction - The cheapest way to diagnose what is wrong take it to your nearest Auto zone and have them check the code for you. Most do it for free
GO AND BUY I NEW light bulb !
If it is the illuminating lights you are referring to in all three instances, it sounds like either a fuse to that circuit has blown or the bulbs themselves have burnt out and need replacing.
Probably your emergency brake pedal. Try lifting up on your e brake pedal and see if id goes out.
Maybe it is not connected properly or you bought the wrong type of bulb.
