It is located under the hood on the drivers side firewall between the power brake booster and the carbon canister.
In my Toyota tercel model 1998 is located in right part of the engine, next to the windshield. Right beside the brake fluid canister. I hope that helps.
On the firewall above the air intake hose and the purge canister. You can't miss it.

The filter is located on the driver side, just before the rear tire, in a canister, unscrew the canister it will have gas in it, filter is inside.
Where is the air filter located on a 2000 Toyota Avalon
Where is the oil filter located on a 2009 Toyota rav4 3.5 engine
The air filter is usually located inside the canister that is bolted to the carburetor.
My 2007 Toyota Tundra takes 8 quarts of 20w50 oil and the canister paper oil filter only available from Toyota for about $6.
First of all, it is not a common spin-on oil cartridge, so you will not see one of those on the 2009 model. It is a cartridge filter element that fits inside of a canister that is located toward the passenger side of the vehicle and on the front-most part of the engine on the very bottom. If you lie on the ground and peek just behind the front bumper and bumper cover located below the bumper, you can see the round canister. It can be easily located as it has a small removable plug in the center with a 3/8 inch square hole that is used to drain the oil filter canister before removing it with an oil filter wrench.
Unscrew the old one, clean the mounting surface, oil the gasket on the new filter, screw the new filter on and tighten 3/4 turn after it makes contact with the mounting surface. The 3.5L motor in the 05' Avalon has a canister type oil filter located on the passenger, front side of the motor.
its a canister filter man
