both are same technologies ...CRDI is Common rail DIRECT INJECTION
CRDI is an abbreviation for common rail direct fuel injection. This is a direct fuel injection system that is used in diesel and petrol engines.
yes...
crdi means common rail direct injection system there will e a rail(straight pipe) structure in that fuel wil pass into that there is an another method "dicor" direct injection common rail
MPFI is Multi-Point Fuel Injection, which is the fuel system used with gasoline engines. CRDI is Common Rail Direct Injection, which is the fuel system used in diesel engines.
CRDi or Common Rail Direct injection for long is a state of the art technology and is basically a method of injecting fuel directly in the cylinder or combustion chamber instead of injecting the fuel in inlet valve or port.ans by kishalay
A CRDI, which is also known as a Common Rail Direct Injection Engine is used with engines which use diesel fuel. The function of the CRDI is similar to a regular engine with the utilization of modern computer systems. The CRDI is known for reduced emission release as well as better performance.
Yes, a CRDi (Common Rail Direct Injection) engine typically features a turbocharger and an intercooler. The turbocharger enhances engine performance by forcing more air into the combustion chamber, while the intercooler cools the compressed air before it enters the engine, improving efficiency and power output. This combination helps CRDi engines achieve better fuel efficiency and lower emissions.
The best diesel engine technology among these is CRDI.
Yes, CRDi (Common Rail Direct Injection) engines can be equipped with a turbocharger and intercooler. The turbocharger enhances engine performance by increasing air intake, while the intercooler cools the compressed air from the turbo, improving efficiency and power output. This combination is commonly found in modern diesel engines to achieve better fuel efficiency and lower emissions.
DICOR is nothin but refurbished term for crdi and it stands for "Direct Injection Common Rail engine" and the simple funda of crdi is a modern variant of direct injection system for diesel engines. It features a high-pressure (1000+ bar) fuel rail feeding individual solenoid valves, as opposed to low-pressure fuel pump feeding pump nozzles or high-pressure fuel line to mechanical valves controlled by cams on the camshaft. and yeah crdi and dicor is for diesel engines....where as mpfi (multiple point fuel injection) is for petrol engines and if we talk in layman language when we used carburettor fed engine.....the main problem was that the fuel air mixture was not uniform in all the cylinders. it was always that the first chamber got the richest mixture and the last chamber got the lean mixture so to get rid of this problem the engineers developed a system where we injected the fuel rather than m ixing it with air and just air was sucked in the suction stroke. i hope this would help Regards Punit
sidi means Spark Ignition Direct Injection
