2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse battery had to be replaced last time this happened it would not idle so had to pay to take it into a shop for them to reset the computer so how can it be reset have code?

There is not a low idle screw. The computer sends a signal to the idle air control motor and it does the adjusting accordingly. If your idle is to high and your check engine light is on then you need to go to a repair shop and have them diagnosis the problem.
