Electric power isn't necessarily "better" than gas, it is simply considered to be cleaner. Electric power has many pros and cons. Here are some examples: Pros: Electric "engines" react immediatly, requiring no warm up time, and no engine block. Electric vehicles can be re-charged at home while you sleep. Electric vehicles make little to no noise. Electirc vehicles leave absolutely no emmisions. Cons: Completely electric vehicles can only run around 200 miles on a single charge, and they do not "fill-up" immediately as gasoline vehicles do. You need to wait for them to charge for a couple hours. (This is why hybrids are being used instead of gas-free cars) Electric vehicles are generally very slow, and prove to be traffic hazards. They CAN be very quick (as seen through this link) http://www.teslamotors.com/ Electric vehicles produce little to no noise, giving pedestrians little to no time to react to your vehicle, as they cannot hear you. Electric vehicles leave no emmisions, but the factories that produce that electricity that you are using do. So to wrap it up, Electric power is not developed enough to be a reliable source of everyday and long distance transportation, and gasoline power is. So until electric vehicles wrap up all the kinks in the system, gasoline will continue to be used as the primary form of power.

The speed decreases when an object is thrown vertically up because of the force of gravity acting against the object's upward motion. As the object goes higher, the force of gravity slows it down until the object reaches its maximum height, where its speed momentarily becomes zero before accelerating back downward.
Sign language was created as a way for deaf and hard of hearing individuals to communicate visually using hand shapes, gestures, and facial expressions. It provides a means of expressing language and communicating without relying on spoken words or sounds. Different sign languages have developed in various regions to meet the communication needs of their respective deaf communities.
