Rarely because all though the day there are different amounts of wind. But now they have put gears on wind turbines so that when the wind is really strong it will spin the same speed as when the wind is very week, unless there is no wind. Or you could hook it up to a battery and then the power from the battery will have a very steady supply of energy

What do fossil fuels give electricity to?

Well, fossil fuels don't give the electricity they are part of making it though. By burning fossil fuels it creates steam which turns a turbine that generates electricity.

Why we use power supply?

The wind turbine cannot generate electricity all the time give reason for that?

Wind turbines require wind to generate electricity. If the wind is not blowing or is too weak, the turbine will not be able to generate electricity. Wind speed and consistency play a crucial role in the operation of wind turbines.

What is the process of generating electricity from coal?

Coal is burned in a furnace to heat water and create steam. The steam turns a turbine connected to a generator, which produces electricity. The electricity is then sent out through power lines for use in homes and businesses.

What are four things that energy can do?

Energy can be used to create motion, such as in a car engine or a wind turbine. It can also be converted into heat, as in a stove or a light bulb. Additionally, energy can be stored for later use in batteries or fuel cells, and can be converted into light for illumination.

What does turbine convert kinetic energy into?

The process through which turbines generate electricity is quite simple to understand. It is also quite a useful thing to know, because turbines are used within practically all styles of electricity generation. First of all, a flammable material is burned underneath a water pipe, and as the water passes over the flames, the water becomes heated. The water then travels on towards its target. Eventually, the water will give off steam, which will rise up to the actual turbine and start rotating it. The spinning turbine will drive an electromagnetic shaft (both electrically powered and magnetically enabled), and generate electricity. After this, the electricity will make its way to the companies which supply the electric power to homes, and from then on, it will be carried and used in everything in the world which requires mains electricity.
