Caused by a voltage spike to do with collapsing magnetic fields in a load. A suppresor fitted across the terminals should stop it.
An isolator is just a disconnector ; it disconnects the load from the supply. The method of operating the isolator can be through a handle or through a spring or through a motor. Isolators can be on-load isolators , which can be switched off on load , or they can be off-load isolators which should not be switched off on load. A Miniature Circuit Breaker can break or open in the event of a fault. Thus its load carrying capacity is extremely high , up to 10 kiloamperes or more. What this means is that if a short circuit current to the tune of 10 kA flows through an isolator , it will melt the isolator contacts , and the damage can be irrepairable. When the same current flows through an MCB , the breaker will trip , without suffering any permanent damage. Thus an MCB is a protective device.
Hope this helpsAn "OFF-Load tap transformer" can only have it's tap adjusted when it is De-energized,while the "On-Load tap transformer" can adjust its tap under load conditions.Kind RegardsHammad KhanUniversity of Western AustraliaAnswerAn 'off load' transformer is one whose secondary is open circuited, and not supplying a load. An 'on load' (not 'load') transformer is one that is connected to a load.
None
It will pull off your shoulder as you advance, no need to flip the load onto your shoulder as with a flat load. Personally I think the triple layer load is the most usefull
Tap changer is a device that is used to change the secondary voltage on transformers. It is normally on the HV winding of the transformer. Off load tap changer is designed to change the taps only when the transformer is not charged, while on load tap changer is capable of changing the tap on load too.
inductance
an off-load device a a switch where there is no current passing through it when its switched, a isolator is a off load device, a light switch is a on-load device because there is current passing through it when its switched.
No, the transformer has to supply the load, whether it is light or heavy.
A switched load is an electrical load that has a switch ahead of it. This allows the load to be isolated from the electrical source. It could be a safety switch used for isolating machinery when maintenance needs to be done. A lighting fixture in your house could be classed as a switched load.
In electrical system load means circuit carrying current . Isolator is device which make on ( Connect ) and off ( Disconnect ) of circuit from supply. When load is ON means carrying current and required to disconnect from supply , than is called on load isolation. Here required on load isolator. When load is OFF means not carrying current and required to disconnect from supply , than is called off load isolation. Here required off load isolator. On load isolators design is more precise than off load isolator because while isolating load during ON states create heavy sparking and transient voltage spikes.
I would wire them using a common relay and a ground switched circuit i.e. Terminal #30 Hot Terminal #87 Load Terminal #85 Hot Terminal #86 Switched to Ground
Someone switched off the light.
The explosives in the diamond mine are just to the left of the elevator. Turn off the elevator switch that's sparking, then push the explosives to the right. You turn the sparking switch back on to detonate it.To use the explosives:Turn off the sparking wire from the elevator switch.Slide a barrel of explosives over to the right, and put it next to the rock.Turn the switch back on, sparking the explosive, which explodes the rock.Turn the sparking wire off, and repeat the process to blast the wall.
switched-off i believe
because operating system is on while phone is switched off
the information is lost after power is switched off.
