h parameters are temperatures dependent due to which there will be low resistance in the circuit, hence circuit will be less effective. Also it is used for small signals.

As h parameters can be used to explain the response of bjt amplifires only in audio frequency range i.e upto 30khz so above this frequency as the effect of inter capacitances also comes in account and in h parameter model these capacitances are not taken in model. so to describe the response of amplifiers in high frequency range we can't use h parameters model can't be used so we use than hybrid pi model
