Light energy to electrical energy?

he electrical energy can be created from light as we know solar energy plates which contains solar cell it actually works on UV rays comes from the sun it absorbs all the UV rays to one point and produces heat and then change it in to the electrical pulses so the next is the photons emitting from the fluorescent tube light it also help to create electrical energy but not in much quantity. As electrical energy can be created from light............... Can electrical energy be created?

Einstein said that mass/energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but we can often convert the form from one into another. So it is possible to use a windmill and generator to convert the power of the moving wind into electrical current. Or, you can use a hydroelectric dam to convert the power of rain falling in the mountains into electrical power.

What is the difference between an electronic engineer and an electrical engineer?

Electrical Engineers design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacture of electrical equipment such as electric motors, lighting, wiring in buildings, power generating utilities, etc. A bachelors degree from an ABET accredited university is required before one can purport to be an Electrical Engineer.Electricians install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems. They might work from blueprints created by electrical engineers when they work with electrical systems.

What is the name principle of 3 phase induction motor?

Transformer action. There is no electrical connection between the stator and the rotor, and voltages get induced into the rotor bars when they are swept by lines of magnetic flux created by the stator windings.

What is THD in UPS and electrical engineering?

It is Total Harmonic Distortion, and has to do with how "clean" the output power is. For those of us in the lighting and electrical world, THD refers to the Harmonic Distortion present with most electrical equipment, and more specifically now, the distortion present with electronic ballasts. THD is the measurement of the distortion created from the equipment's current draw. True resistive loads, such as an incandescent light bulb, do not have THD. Equipment containing coils and capacitors, such as motors, drives, fluorescent lighting and HID lighting, have some measure of THD.
