Wen the length of overhead transmission line is less than 80 km with an operating voltage up to 20kv it is considered as short transmission lines
Due to smaller lengths and low operating voltage the charging current is low so the effect of capacitance of short transmission lines is extremely small and therefore can be neglected as in case of distribution lines and only R L is to be taken into account while analyzing short transmission lines
The transmission lines which have length less than 80 km are generally referred as short transmission lines. For short length, the shunt capacitance of this type of line is neglected and other parameters like electrical resistance and inductor of these short lines are lumped.
Any two conductors separated by an insulating medium constitutes a condenser or capacitor. In case of overhead transmission lines, two conductors form the two plates of the capacitor and the air between the conductors behaves as dielectric medium. Thus an overhead transmission line can be assumed to have capacitance between the conductors throughout the length of the line. The capacitance is uniformly distributed over the length of the line and may be considered as uniform series of condensers connected between the conductors. When an alternating voltage is applied across the transmission line it draws the leading current even when supplying no load. This leading current will be in quadrature with the applied voltage and is termed as charging current. It must be noted that charging current is due to the capacitive effect between the conductors of the line and does not depend on the load. The strength of the charging currents depends on the voltage of transmission, the capacitance of the line and frequency of the ac supply. It is given by the expressionSignificance of Charging currents:Capacitance effect (responsible for charging currents) of the short transmission lines are negligible. However they are significant in medium and long distance transmission lines. In long distance transmission lines, during light loaded conditions receiving end voltage will be higher than sending end voltage. This is because of the charging currents and capacitive effect of the line
For DC: four or six parallel lines - long, short, long, short, long, short. The long end is the positive part. For AC: a waveline (one cycle) within a circle.
In series resonance, the inductance and the capacitance are connected in series, but in parallel resonance they are connected in parallel. In series resonance, at an input signal with a frequency equal to resonance frequency, the total impedance of both inductive and capacitive elements together is zero (or they appear as short circuits) unlike the parallel resonance case in which it is infinite and they appear as an open circuit.
to determine the comparison of resistance value of both forward and reverse diode . The more the resistance the lower the current , the lower the resistance the higher the current . When reverse bias , the resistance is high and it acts in open circuit and the reverse current is very small that can be neglected . When forward bias , the resistance is low and it acts as short circuit and the forward current is increasing as the voltage supply is higher .

You can reduce stray capacitance by avoiding having long wires running parallel in circuits. Keep wires as short as possible. Long wires running along each other can exhibit stray capacitance effects. Another way is to cut long leads of components such as capacitors and inductors to make them as short as possible. If best, use SM components, as they have no leads which can cause this stray capacitance effect.
There are three types of transmission lines of India given follows ---- 1-long transmission line( which is used grid to power suppliers plant ) 2-medium transmission line ( which is used power supplier plant to the industry ) 3- short transmission line ( which is used transformer to the consumers )
Conductance is ignored in short circuit studies because the inductance of the line is the dominant value. Conductance may not be ignored in stability studies.
A short summary has 10 lines.

Trany is short for transmission.
In the field of palmistry, there are two main types of love lines: long love lines relate to marriage, and short love lines relate to short-term relationships or affairs. Love lines are the main lines running across the top of the palm. Depending on how the short and long lines intersect, a palm reader could interpret difficult in marriages.
Each line time is used to show different things. Some of the lines are, Center lines( long- and short-dashed lines.)cutting plane lines( thin, medium-dashed lines, or thick long- and double short-dashed) and section lines(thin lines in a pattern).
Short answer: By using a varactor diode as the capacitance in a parallel resonant ckt, by changing the reverse bias voltage you change the value of capacitance which in turn changes the resonant frequency. This makes a tuneable resonant ckt.
