Oh, what a delightful question! Tarsiers and aye-ayes may look similar with their big eyes and unique features, but they actually belong to different primate families. Tarsiers are part of the Tarsiidae family, while aye-ayes are members of the Daubentoniidae family. Both of these creatures are fascinating in their own special ways, each with their own unique characteristics that make them truly remarkable in the animal kingdom.
The Philippine tarsier is a nocturnal arboreal primate. Relatives of the Philippine tarsier are the Bornean tarsier of Borneo and Sumatra, and Dian's tarsier of Indonesia.

Tagalog translation of tarsier: tarsier
Perhaps you are thinking of the Aye-Aye? Which is a nocturnal Lemur that has large eyes and large ears, not to mention their long fingers. They resemble bats, and to me are not to nicest looking animals. There is also the Tarsier which is a very small primate with very, very, large eyes. It is also part of the lemur family, though. Another would be the African Bush-Baby. Which strongly resembles an Aye-Aye.
