Humans indirectly caused the Didus Ineptus (Dodo) to be extinct. We introduced animals such as pigs, monkeys and rats to the Dodo which then ate all the Dodo eggs until there were no more. They became extinct in the 17th century.
I hope this helps,

The flightless extinct bird known as Didus ineptus is commonly referred to as the dodo. Native to the island of Mauritius, the dodo became extinct in the late 17th century due to human activities and introduced species that disrupted its habitat. The dodo is often cited as a symbol of extinction caused by human impact on the environment. Its inability to fly and unique adaptations made it a fascinating subject of study in evolutionary biology.
A large, extinct bird (Didus ineptus), formerly inhabiting the Island of Mauritius. It had short, half-fledged wings, like those of the ostrich, and a short neck and legs; -- called also dronte. It was related to the pigeons.
