inability to reproduce
The disappearance of a species from all parts of an environment is known as extinction. This occurs when the last existing member of a species dies, leading to its complete disappearance from the planet. Extinction can be caused by various factors, including habitat destruction, climate change, pollution, and hunting.
Actuallly, because of their isolated habitats, island species are more vulnerable to extinction. Introduced species, such as cats, mongoose, and others have led to the extinction of many birds especially, because of their inability to understand the tactics of the alien predator.
because of the habitat!
Animals go on extinction when they are continuously hunted by human beings, face risk of the environment and inability to reproduce well or insecurity of their young ones as in the case of reptiles, fishes and amphibians.
extinction of species
During: Lots of screaming. After: Much, much less screaming.
Both involve at least a few species dying out because of failure to adapt to the changing environment.
As part of the environment of other organisms humans can have great effects on speciation. Especially adaptive radiation. As we contribute heavily to the extinction of some species other species flow into those open niches and radiate outwards to possible speciation.
A species who cannot adapt to its environment, cannot survive. Adaptations have kept species from being extinct. Adaptations can include, changes in diet, development of protection such as fur coats against temperature, and even skin color changes to act as camouflage from predators.
