They are the smallest primates "prosimian". They live in the Phillipines, are on the IUCN Red List of endangered animals. The most benefical thing I can think of is they eat lots of insects. I'm sure there are many other benefits we have because of these small creatures, but that is the first one that jumped out at me, while doing this research. They eat all size and shapes of insects, and in a hot moist climate like the PI, that is wonderfully handy.
