Bees perform two useful functions for humans. They produce honey which we eat, and they pollinate crops. Not all crops require bees, since other methods of pollination exist, and certainly, there are substitutes for honey (we would still have sugar cane) but even so, the loss of bees would have a considerable economic impact.

Answer:There are arguments on either side of this. The fact is that bees pollinate the majority of our flowering food crops. Without them we would experience famine. Now, there are about 7.5 billion people on the planet. There have been near extinction event in the past when there were far fewer people. Doom-cryers would have you believe that we are one step away from our own extinction, but the fact is that people, as a race, are far more resilient than any of us individually. So many of our actions are hardwired to survival, it could be said that surviving is what we do. We adapt.

Survival in such a situation might not be enviable or attractive, but the human race will go on regardless of what happens to bees.

Answer:yes we will die, plants and our main source of food will die off, and then we will suffer from starvation when we eat all of our food. and mcdonalds dont count either. Answer:I think that we won't die. We may lose a percentage of fruits and crops. People may lose a little health. But, we wont die. Only if something goes wrong. Answer:There was a very interesting NOVA recently on bees. In that program they stated that human life depends on the population of bees. If the bees disappear, we are about three years away from the same.
