Giant pandas are known for being cute and cuddly as stuffed animals for children. They are not especially friendly toward humans. They have become an international symbol for endangered animals, as they are very picky eaters. There's only one certain type of bamboo that they will eat, and only supplement their diet with small animals, grubs, and insects. They only live in China. Once the bamboo forests are gone, the wild Giant panda population will cease to exist, except in zoos. Some humans actually hunt them for the alleged medicinal value of their harvested body parts, such as their liver, gall bladder, and heart.
Both the giant panda and the red panda are found in China.
The Giant Panda naturally inhabits what is known as the 'cold forest'.
