Rhinos are herbivores, so their favorite food is typically grasses, leaves, branches, and fruits. They have a specialized diet to meet their nutritional needs in the wild.
Black and White Rhinos can live in all tempered zones in the world that provide food for them. The Indian rhinoceros is not wildly different in it's needs from the black and white rhinos of Africa. So it is reasonable to assume that African black and white rhinos would survive in India easily.
A rhino usually lives in the grasslands or in African places where there is food.
Rhinos first chew it up. The chewed food ferments in the first chamber of the stomach. Then the rhino burps it up and chews it again. The substance is called cud. After the rhino swallows, the food moves to the fourth chamber of the stomach, where enzymes work on the twice chewed food to continue digestion.
Rhinos eat with there rough mouth. Then grabs the grass with their powerful jaw and then yanks it out the ground.
