Do you mean the breeds home range, or the type of terrain? If the former, it is the Western Isles (or Outer Hebrides) of Scotland. If the latter it is barren wind swept hillsides which makes them tough and adaptable, but susceptible to laminitis if they are moved to rich pasture.
