Why the spotted deer endangered?

The chital is listed as least concern by IUCN. No wide spread threats to chitals are there, and many live inside of protected areas. However, certain places face dramatic population decreases and even localized extinctions due to hunting and competition with domestic livestock.

There are 22 species of cuscus that I could find information on. Four of these are considered Critically Endangered, and they are the Talud Bear Cuscus, the Telefomin Cuscus, the Black Spotted Cuscus, and the Blue eyed Spotted Cuscus. Two of the 22 species are simply endangered, and they are the Gebe Cuscus and the Woodlark Cuscus. There are four species of cuscus that are considered Vulnerable, and they are the Sulawesi Bear Cuscus, the Blue eyed Cuscus, the Waigeou Cuscus, and the Sulawesi Dwarf Cuscus. There is one species that is Near Threatened, the Admiralty Island Cuscus. Luckily, eleven of the species I found are considered Least Concern, and they are the Mountain Cuscus, the Ground Cuscus, the Eastern Common Cuscus, the Southern Common Cuscus, the Northern Common Cuscus, the Ornate Cuscus, Rothschild's Cuscus, the Silky Cuscus, Stein's Cuscus, the Common Spotted Cuscus, and the Banggai Cuscus.
