it is as simple as this
know your volt (110, 220 ..)
know your amp
from the manufacture sticker usually on the back of the motor
and your load in watts = volt x amp
so if you are using a 1.5 hp motor that is amp rated = 7.0 at 220 v
then your watt = 220 x7 = 1540 watt = 1.54 kw
hope that will help

An electric motor typically uses alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC), depending on its design. AC motors are commonly used in industrial and household applications, while DC motors are often found in smaller devices and battery-operated equipment. Each type of motor is optimized for specific applications based on efficiency, control, and power requirements.
An electric train uses electric motors. Modern trains have many motors, they are mounted on the axles, one motor per axle. Some axles will be powered and have motors on them, some will not.
If you are talking about DC power line electricity, it is no longer used in homes or industry however many electric rail systems (e.g. trolley, highspeed trains) use DC electricity as DC motors have several advantages for motive power compared to AC motors. A few very long transmission power lines use DC electricity, but the DC is converted back to AC electricity before being distributed to customers. Certain industries (e.g. electroplating, aluminum refining) use DC internally, but they use large rectifiers to convert 3-phase AC to DC electricity when it enters the plant. If you are talking about electronic equipment (e.g. radios, computers, cell phones) these usually contain batteries. Everyone using battery powered electronics (or lighting, toys, cars, UPSs, etc.) uses DC electricity, because that is the way batteries provide electricity.Nearly everyone uses DC electricity, in battery powered devices.
Most of the Industry uses AC motors only.
Electric bicycles (e-bikes) often use 48 or 72 volt DC motors for their propulsion systems. These voltage levels provide a good balance between power and efficiency, allowing for higher speeds and improved performance. Additionally, some electric scooters and certain types of electric vehicles may also utilize these voltage ranges for their motors.

An electric motor is a device that uses electricity to create mechanical motion. It converts electrical energy into rotational motion by utilizing electromagnetic principles. Electric motors are commonly found in appliances, vehicles, and industrial machinery.
Electric motors are devices that use electricity to do work. They convert electrical energy into mechanical energy to power various machines such as fans, pumps, and conveyor belts.
It doesn't, an electric car uses electricity
An electric motor is a device that uses electricity to create mechanical motion, usually by converting electrical energy into rotational motion. Electric motors are commonly used in various applications such as household appliances, power tools, and vehicles to make things move.
An electric motor is a device that uses electricity to produce mechanical energy. It consists of a rotor and a stator that interact to convert electrical energy into rotational motion. Electric motors can be found in a wide range of devices, from household appliances to industrial machinery.
The quantity of power consumed by a light bulb is dependant on the wattage of the bulb.
Holding objects together, such as on a refrigerator or bulletin board. Generating electricity in generators and electric motors. Sorting materials in recycling facilities by attracting magnetic metals.
An example of a device that uses both magnetism and electricity is an electric motor. Electric motors contain coils of wire that produce a magnetic field when an electric current is passed through them, interacting with permanent magnets to generate motion. This principle is used in various applications, such as in vehicles, appliances, and industrial machinery.
A electric car uses either a DC or AC motor. Typically they use DC motors.
