In a car the power supply is DC so all motors in cars work on DC. Also, AC motors are usually designed for 120 v or 240 v so they would not work on 12 v DC. So the answer is no.
ac motor
It depends on the motor. The fan is driven by an electric motor, and it can use a dc motor (as in a car) or an ac motor (as in a house). They are not interchangeable.
Ac motor has a low starting torque so that DC series motor used in railways cause DC motor has high starting torque
AC voltage controllers are used for controlling the speed of universal motor or induction motor by changing the firing angle :) -vinodh gav
DC Motor :- SHUNT MOTOR, Series Motor, Compund Motor, ( mainly used in traction system only. as there performanace is very poor & DC supply is not available easily so there uses is less then AC motors,) AC Motor:- Induction Motor ( Slip ring Type, squrrile cage Induction motor) Syncronous Motor.
There are special tools required for many AC repairs. It is best to take it to a qualified AC mechanic for service.

stepper motor :- motor used for controlling direction of movement of robotic arm dc motor :- motor used in cellphones as vibrators ac motor :- motor used in textile machinery

AC current is used in motors.
When an AC blower motor is not working, the problem is usually related to the electrical system rather than the air-conditioning unit itself. Common causes include: Blown fuse or faulty relay, which can stop power from reaching the blower motor Failed blower motor resistor, especially if the fan works on some speeds but not others Worn or failed blower motor, which may stop completely Wiring or connector issues, such as corrosion or loose connections Checking the fuse and relay is a good first step, as these are quick and inexpensive to inspect. If those are fine, the resistor and blower motor should be tested. When I run into issues like this, I usually take it to Bergman’s Auto Repair. They diagnose it properly and explain whether it’s a simple electrical fix or a part that actually needs replacing.
A electric car uses either a DC or AC motor. Typically they use DC motors.
