Hi, believe it or not, nylon can trap heat, but not as much heat as wool or denim. I have done a project on it and it absorbs a good amount of heat. Wool absorbs more because of it's fibres and denim because of it's thickness.
Nylon
cotton dries faster than nylon because of cotton is a material which absorb water faster than nylon that is why cotton dries faster than nylon
yes
wool!
wool
Nylon is synthetic fiber hence it catches fire very easily Nylon will not absorb water(sweat) easily
Nylon
Nylon is a synthetic polymer, and has no ability to absorb water - much like plastic.
Nylon retains heat. Worn during the summer it is hot, even if you are only wearing a short dress or shirt. Cotton is the best to wear at any time. it does not absorb the heat, and allows the body to be cool even during the hottest day. Polyester is the worse. Worn in warm weather it feels as if you are wearing a winter coat.

Nylon is a synthetic material that does not absorb moisture well, so it can trap heat and moisture against the skin, potentially leading to sweating. However, many athletic wear brands use moisture-wicking technologies in their nylon fabrics to help keep you dry during physical activity.

yes
They absorb light which is converted into heat energy
A sponge definitely does have the ability to absorb heat. Sponges absorb heat as well as many other things like water.
Flowers do not absorb heat directly as they do not have the metabolic processes to generate heat. However, they can be affected by heat from their surroundings, which can impact their growth and development.
The biggest advantage of cotton over nylon, especially in warmer climates, is that cotton fabric is much cooler to wear than nylon. Cotton can absorb the sweat where as nylon will have you feeling hot and sticky.
