May be.job opportunity is very less.you have to score higher grades, other wise you are of no use.if you are a metallurgical engineer,you are only limited to the steel industry.less chance in automobile sector.if you have not joined engineering,i'll advice,you better join mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or mining engineering.metallurgy is not a good choice rather t is good compromise.
