there are wristbands available that ground you, so any static electricity you generate is transferred away from you. Also, touching anything metal will discharge the electricity just like the wristband, however, and more you generate will be transferred to the computer component you are working with (which is where i believe you were going with this question)

Explain the role of national code in the design of electrical installation?

The national electrical code plays a critical role in electrical installation design by setting minimum safety standards for wiring, equipment, grounding, and protection systems. It ensures installations reduce risks of fire, electric shock, and equipment failure. By following the code, designers create systems that are safe, reliable, and legally compliant.

Explain how you know that it is an electric field not electrons that moves rapidly through a circuit?

Electrons in an active circuit either drift slowly, or just jiggle back and forth in one place.

Explain how hydraulic pressure is maintained in a hydraulic system?

A power source - such as a combustion engine or electric motor - mechanically actuates a pump which pushes hydraulic fluid through it. This maintains pressure in the hydraulic system.

When a battery is connected to a complete circuit charges flow in the circuit almost instantaneously explain?

When a battery is connected to a complete circuit, an electric field is established almost instantly throughout the circuit. This electric field causes free electrons in the conductive material to begin moving, resulting in a flow of electric current. While the individual electrons travel relatively slowly, the effect of the electric field propagates at a significant fraction of the speed of light, allowing the current to appear to flow almost instantaneously. Thus, the response of the circuit is immediate, even though the actual movement of electrons is gradual.
